Sweden to fine VideoSlots casino $30,000 per week

The Swedish Gaming Regulator found that VideoSlot Casino allowed deposits in excess of the temporary SEK 5,000/week limit. This happened by canceling the conclusions. The casino and the regulator have different opinions on this matter.

According to Gambling Insider, VideoSlots believe that the cancellation of payouts has nothing to do with deposit limit requirements. At the same time, the regulator noted that the casino misunderstands the rule. The following comment was made for clarification:

VideoSlots interprets the rule to mean that it is sufficient for the license holder that you simply have a limit of SEK 5,000 per week, regardless of how much deposits were actually made and how the deposits were made. The Gaming Commission does not share this opinion.

The regulator decided to remove the ability to cancel withdrawals and stop the practice when deposits exceed the limits. Three weeks after receiving the notice, the casino will pay a fine of SEK 250,000 (approximately $30,000) per week if it does not correct the situation.
